So why is it no historians living in the same time period as this alleged christ figure recorded his existance?

i mean if i saw a jewish zombie heck yeah id write that in a book... but none of the historians from the time period record him... only the ones after the birth of christianity did... and most of them didnt record it until roughly 100 years later... a good time for a myth to catch on..
