What is the point of these freedom flotillas?

To be honest, i think these are a retarded idea, and I never use that word to describe anything. So basically these peaceniks are responding to what they believe to be an injustice by beating up soldiers of a sovereign nation and trying to screw over another nation. Isnt a blockade what the US did to Cuba, and what China did to Taiwan? Why should foreign citizens be allowed to torment soldiers who are just doing their jobs protecting there nation? To be honest when I see this stuff, it makes me have no sympathy for palestine, because they seem to be the ones causing more of the problem. Israel has every right to exist, and if palestinian backed terrorists wont allow that to happen, why should i feel sorry for them? There are people in Sudan, and Burma, and North Korea who are being oppressed by those governments. Why isnt there any flotilla bullshit for that?
